Reviewing Every Entry Before the Label

Talemi Co selects products under defined principles: each item in the catalogue is reviewed for ingredient transparency before listing, supplier documentation is requested where available, corrections are noted in the catalogue record, and the selection team discloses any commercial relationships that could influence inclusion.

02 / Editorial Principles

A defined process, not a preference

The Talemi Co selection process is structured to remove subjectivity from the entry decision. A body cream or vitamin complex enters the catalogue because its ingredient data meets the review criteria — not because the studio team finds it appealing or because the brand profile is strong.

The process is described below in sequential steps. Each step has a defined output that must be complete before the next step begins. Entries are not listed until all steps are satisfied.

Talemi Co is an independent wellness catalogue presenting body care and daily supplement selections. The catalogue is not affiliated with any commercial, governmental, or institutional body.

03 / Review Process

01

Ingredient Sheet Submission

A potential catalogue entry begins with the submission of the full ingredient sheet. All ingredients must be listed with their INCI names. Partial lists, marketing-abbreviated lists, or lists in non-standard formats are returned for completion before review begins.

For vitamin and supplement entries, the nutrient reference values, concentrations, and declared amounts per serving are required at this stage.

02

Botanical and Supplier Origin Check

Plant-derived and botanical ingredients are traced to their declared origin. The studio requests documentation from the supplier confirming where each botanical extract or cold-pressed oil is sourced, processed, and concentrated.

Where a supplier declines to provide origin documentation, the entry is withheld from the catalogue. The reason is noted in the internal record without being published.

03

Independent Selection Review

An independent reviewer assesses the ingredient sheet against the published ingredient research. For body care entries, this focuses on concentration consistency and botanical suitability for daily application. For supplement entries, it focuses on nutrient forms, daily quantities, and compatibility with a standard balanced diet.

Products in the Talemi Co catalogue are selected based on published ingredient research and reviewed for sourcing transparency before listing.

04

Catalogue Entry and Record Creation

Entries that complete steps 01–03 are listed in the catalogue with a structured record. The record includes: product name, category, key ingredients, declared concentration data, supplier origin summary, and the date of review. The record is held internally and updated when formulation changes are notified.

The entry in the public-facing catalogue contains a subset of this information: product name, key ingredients, format, and a description in the K_TONE register.

05

Ongoing Record Maintenance

Entries are subject to periodic re-review. Where a supplier notifies a formulation change, the entry is removed from public view until the updated ingredient sheet has completed the review process from step 01. If the updated formulation does not meet the review criteria, the entry is removed from the catalogue permanently.

The catalogue is not intended as a permanent product directory. It reflects the current sourcing data held on record at the time of access.

04 / Sourcing Standards

Body Care Formulations

For body creams, butters, and lotions, the review focuses on: the concentration of active botanical ingredients relative to the stated formula weight; the origin and processing method of plant-derived oils; the presence of supporting ingredients that contribute to daily skin nourishment; and the absence of ingredients that would conflict with the catalogue's standard for everyday body care use.

The studio does not require organic certification as a listing criterion, but certification data, where provided, is included in the internal sourcing record.

Vitamin and Supplement Complexes

For daily vitamins and supplement complexes, the review focuses on: the bioavailability form of each declared nutrient; the declared quantity per serving relative to established nutritional reference values; the presence of documented excipients and their function; and the supplier's declared manufacturing environment documentation.

Supplement entries are not reviewed for the management of any specific condition. The review addresses nutritional composition and sourcing documentation only.

05 / Questions on the Process

The review duration depends on the completeness of the initial submission. Where a full ingredient sheet and supplier documentation are provided at the outset, a standard review is completed within three to four weeks. Incomplete submissions extend this timeline according to the time taken to resolve outstanding documentation.

Suppliers may submit a product for consideration via [email protected]. The submission should include the full ingredient sheet, a summary of supplier origin information, and any available supporting documentation. The studio does not ensure entry for any submitted product — all submissions are assessed using the same five-step process regardless of origin.

When a formulation change is notified, the entry is removed from the public catalogue immediately. It re-enters the review process from step 01 using the updated ingredient sheet. If the updated formulation meets the review criteria, the entry is reinstated with a new review date recorded. If it does not meet the criteria, the entry is removed permanently.

The studio discloses any commercial relationship in its internal records before a review begins. Where a commercial arrangement exists between a reviewer and a supplier, a different reviewer completes that entry's assessment. The studio does not accept payment for a listing — entries are included based on review outcome only.

No. The catalogue presents informational observations on body care and supplement formulations. Products listed in the Talemi Co catalogue are presented for informational purposes and reflect the selection team's observations on everyday body care and wellness supplement routines. The catalogue is not intended as professional advice, nor as guidance for the management of any specific condition. Individuals with specific requirements are encouraged to speak with a qualified wellness professional before introducing any new routine.

06 / Ingredient Transparency

What transparency means in practice

For Talemi Co, ingredient transparency is not a brand value — it is a documentation requirement. A product is considered transparent when its full ingredient list can be verified against the supplier's sourcing record, when concentration data is available for active ingredients, and when botanical origins are traceable through the supply chain.

Where this documentation is partial, the entry is withheld. Where it is absent entirely, the entry is declined. This is recorded in the studio's internal review notes as a matter of standard procedure.
